F&M Hires Gentry Wheat To Lead Commercial Lending Expansion Into Rutherford County

        [MURFREESBORO, Tenn.] - F&M Bank, headquartered in Clarksville, TN, has announced the addition of Gentry Wheat to accelerate the bank's loan production in Murfreesboro.   Wheat and F&M are currently operating by appointments and can be contacted at 615-430-7744.  Wheat recently served as a commercial loan officer for MidSouth Bank in Murfreesboro, specializing in real estate, construction and development lending.  Previously, he worked as assistant branch manager for Union Planters/Regions Bank in Murfreesboro.  Wheat is a Rutherford County native and a 1998 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.

F&M Bank Hires Ellis As Mt. JulietCommercial Lender

MT. JULIET, Tenn. — F&M Bank has announced the addition of Dan Ellis as vice president and commercial lender.

Formerly vice president and commercial lender for SunTrust Bank in Nashville, Ellis has over eight years experience at various financial institutions throughout the metro Nashville area including Regions and AmSouth. He received a B.A. degree from Trevecca Nazarene University.  Ellis resides in Mt. Juliet. He is on the Easter Seals’ Camp Mt. Juliet Action Committee and is a TSSAA football official.

Lankford

F&M Bank Hires Lankford For Lebanon Office

[LEBANON, Tenn.] —    F&M Bank announces the addition of Jason Lankford as vice president and commercial lender in Lebanon.

            Lankford was previously employed by U.S. Bank in Hickman. He has also served as city president of People’s State Bank of Commerce and vice president of Community Bank of Smith County.  He graduated from Tennessee Technical University as well as the Southeastern School of Banking.

F&M Hires Brad Edwards As Vice President and Commercial Lender in Sumner County

[CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.] — F&M Bank has announced the addition of Brad Edwards to lead the bank’s expansion into Gallatin, Goodlettsville and Hendersonville.  Edwards will operate out of the bank’s White House office until office space is secured in the Sumner-Davidson County area.

“Brad’s long-standing banking experience in Sumner County and familiarity with the county’s business environment will be instrumental in securing a strong market position in the county,” remarked Sammy Stuard, CEO of F&M Bank.  “Our venture into White House less than a year ago has proven successful, and by its very proximity, has already provided us a positive entrée into Sumner County. We are confident that F&M’s reputation, strength and 100-year tenure in middle Tennessee will make us a welcomed newcomer in the Sumner-Davidson County market as well.

               Edwards is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He is active in several organizations in Gallatin, Goodlettsville and Hendersonville and has been selected to participate in the 2007-2008 Leadership Sumner program. Edwards, his wife Shawna and daughter reside in Gallatin.
